The Essence of Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and structured practice rooted in vinyasa — the seamless synchronisation of breath and movement. This continuous flow generates internal heat, promotes detoxification through sweat, and supports the purification of the body, mind, and nervous system.
Through regular practice, students cultivate strength, flexibility, endurance, and a deeper sense of overall wellbeing.
This method is accessible to all — regardless of age, body type, or fitness level — and can be adapted to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Heritage & Lineage
Rooted in Tradition
Om House stands firmly in the lineage of Ashtanga yoga. Led by senior teacher Eileen Hall, who has dedicated her life to this path, our teachers carry decades of experience and a deep commitment to sharing yoga with authenticity and care. The teachings are simple, methodical, and time-tested, a daily discipline that awakens steadiness, strength, and clarity.
Place & Atmosphere
Bondi Sanctuary
Just a few steps from the ocean, Om House is designed as a place of retreat and renewal. The light-filled space, inspired by Bali’s effortless beauty, is simple yet uplifting: garden and quiet corners to pause. Here, practice feels both grounded in tradition and alive in the present moment.
Practice & Classes
Daily Practice, Steady Growth
Our classes are for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. In Mysore-style classes, each student is guided individually within a group setting. Led classes give rhythm and shared focus. Beginners are introduced step by step, while long-time practitioners are supported to deepen their journey. What matters most is consistency: showing up, breath by breath, day by day.
Community & Belonging
More Than a Class
Om House is a place to meet yourself, and others. After practice, students often linger over chai and a chat. Community here grows naturally, not by exclusivity but by shared experience. Whether you stay for a few weeks or many years, you become part of something larger than yourself: a practice family.
Invitation to Begin
Your Practice Journey Starts Here
You don’t need to know the sequence or be flexible to begin, you just need to join an evening class on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. There is also an opportunity to start in Sunday's Led class at 9.30am.
For those wishing to practice in the morning mysore classes, please contact Eileen to arrange a start time.
Under the canopy of Om House, you’ll find support, steadiness, and space to grow at your own pace.
