MEET OUR TEACHERS

Eileen Hall
Certified to teach both the Ashtanga and Iyengar methods since 1981, Eileen began practicing yoga at age 20. Her first teacher was a dedicated Iyengar practitioner, and soon after she studied with Shandor Remete, now known for Shadow Yoga.
In the 1980s, Eileen travelled to India, studying with B.K.S. Iyengar and assisting him in classes, before later beginning her lifelong practice of Ashtanga yoga with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. She continues to explore the depth of this practice to this day.
Beyond yoga, Eileen loves ocean swimming, reading, writing, and walking other people’s dogs. Learn more about Eileen in this episode on Compass - Yoga is Medicine.
